Because there was a coin flip determining HFA for all the possible races should they result in a tie shortly after Labor Day. Baseball gives some BS line about "we have to know several weeks in advance where the games are going to be".

Gardy hit and runs into a lineout DP in the top of the 1st and Blackburn hangs an 0-2 breaking ball in the bottom for a single. This is not going so well.

Boo, cousin Tolbert not in the starting lineup for the Twinks :-(

 

Hurting his thumb earlier this year and missing two months really killed him. He was headed toward being a starter before that happened, I think. He's better than Punto, although I'm probably a bit bias.

I ran an optimization on the database about 15 minutes ago that disrupted posting for a while. I'm hoping that addresses the issues of the past few days. If anyone sees additional problems, please pm me in case I don't see it.
