I did not expect to win this game, but man.. It felt like we left money on the table in this game.

Hamels is amazing. Had control of his Fastball,Curveball and Change today and there was nothing the Brewers could do about it.

Hopefully CC can get us back to Milwaukee 1-1.

The Brewers look to rebound from their loss in the first game of the series. I guess they couldn't ask for a better guy to put on the mound. This will be his fourth consecutive start on 3 days rest, wonder if it will finally catch up to him and the Brewers?

C.C. Sabathia 17-10, 2.70 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, 251 K's

The Phillies throw out the wife beater, who has pitched much better as of late than he did at the start of the year. He did however get really touched up in his last two starts.

Brett Myers- 10-13, 4.55 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, 163 K's

I care so little about this game right now, Go Brewers today. Hell, if we can win our series, I guess I hope they have a long series as well.

With CC going in Game 2, this was way more of a must win for Philadelphia than Milwaukee. Obviously it would have been great for the Brewers to win this one, but if they can win Game 2, they will have earned a split on the road. On the other hand, if Milwaukee wins this one, then the Phillies have to beat CC to avoid going down 0-2 with two games upcoming in Milwaukee.

I still don't think the Brewers are going to win the series (CC can only go two games) but if they can win Game 2, they'll be in decent shape.

Crap, I kinda wanted Milwaukee to hang around but if Rollins gets a hit here that could really open the floodgates.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand CC walks the pitcher.

This game will be broken open momentarily.

CC must have not watched the Cubs game last night, or he would have known that doesn't help.
