instead of doing a shot every time dick stockton screws up or the cubs suck or whatever the game is we should just mainline heroin directly into our foreheads

Well, Fukudome did patiently look at a few balls and then after they were called strikes, it changes the at bat to the point that he cannot be totally blamed for that strikeout.

Lou is an atrocious manager. He really is.

Yes, Lou sure is up there in the batters box, swinging at balls that are way out of the strike zone, and Lou is also at the mound, walking people.

The word you're looking for is "queue"

A queue is a waiting line, for lack of a better definition. To cue is to prompt. "Cue" is the appropriate word here.

Cubs didn't feel like playing tonight, so I guess we can debate lexical issues.

Well, you're right, but I'm pretty sure the word he was trying to spell was queue.

Something can be queued up, stuck in line to come up next

Yeah. He should really work on finding the strike zone and swinging at low pitches.

What the hell is that? I never said the players didn't deserve blame as well. Lou has shown time and time again that he is a terrible in game manager. Fukudome batting 2nd? Give me a break. Not even having anybody warmed up when Dempster was clearly done? Awesome.
