My friend was talking about the other day...He said he's positive Kenny Williams is going to get him in the off season. Is he a free agent? Wouldn't the North Siders be in the running for him? Also probably the darn Yanks?

He's not close to becoming a free agent. Top of my head, I'd say 3 years away.

Why not him over McLouth though? Maybe Granderson wants to get out of Detriot

According to rotoworld, hes signed through 2013 with a club option for 2014, so it will be a bit of a wait, but it gives us something to think about for the next 5-6 years, if Pie, Colvin, and whatever other prospects/draft picks we happen to get dont pan out.

Hell, at this point, I'll be happy if any of them pan out.

No way. He'll cost anyone an arm and a leg. He runs their engine, and he is signed cheap for a while. Side note, I've met him, he's a very nice person.

No way the Tigers trade him. He's under control for a few more years.

A lot of sites are mentioning the Tigers trading Ordonez, so I'm sure they're not going to trade Granderson too.

Who would take Magglio? They aren't going to get a lot of value for him, and he's due $18Mil next year w/ a 3Mil option. For Granderson, they can possibly do something about that horrible pitching staff they have.

If they were to trade a young player as talented as Granderson, they certainly wouldnt do it within their division. Who the hell would be that dumb? Yeah, I know, the Pittsburg Pirates say hi.

We could take Magglio and move Fukudome to centerfield if the Tigers ate some salary, couldn't we?

Really depends on what we are able to do with salary this year with the sale in process. We are going to have a pretty big increase just to put the same team back on the field.

I don't want to pay Magglio that kind of money for 3 years. Boras made the contract so that the options will basically vest if Ordonez is healthy
