When you guys receive your tickets via FedEx, please let us know thanks.

BTW, I need to know because when I receive mine, they are sent to a friend's parent's house and they sometimes don't let us know for a day or two. Thanks.

I hate everyone in this thread

Me too.

Especially when I'm like #1,000,000 on the season ticket waiting list

Exactly! Not only do they get Cubs season tickets, but they also get a ton of playoff tickets. Lucky bastards. I'll get mine one day. :pig:

Yeah, I have nights/weekends and I can't believe they are giving us tickets to like every game. No wonder they are so hard to get through the lottery.

Those with season tickets: How long have you had them, and how long did you have to wait to get them? I am assuming the waiting list has grown exponentially over the last 5-10 years.

Since the 2000 season. I had to wait a few hours on a weekday in January 2000 to get them. There wasn't a waiting list at the time. The ticket rep gave me my pick of three different seat locations. Got to run around the park and sit in them before making up my mind.

Wow...definitely should have jumped on the bandwagon when I had the chance. Of course in 2000 I was 18 years old and considered $500 a lot of money, and lived in New Hampshire, but still. I can't imagine the season ticket waiting list going down anytime soon, even if there are a few down years in a row.

I am "only" #95,693 on the waiting list!

This post makes me really sad.

Same boat, only I was 16 in 2000. Angry face. I think I'm high enough on the list that I don't expect to ever get the call.

I basically didn't go on vacation in my 20's after getting them to afford them. Of course, that's when I lived right by the ballpark and insisted on attending 40+ games a season.
