Really cool where Santo says it was the first time since he joined the radio broadcast that he felt like a player.

I think he's crying.

BCMV added a link where you can buy it from the Tribune site although it may cost a little bit more and not get there for awhile.

where does this fall in your favorite moments as a cubs fan?

wood 20ks

z no-hitter

sammy 61st, 62nd etc

beating atl. in 2003

1. Cubs clinching in 1984. I blame the '84 Cubs for my struggles during my freshman year in college. I skipped way too many classes to catch Cub games down the stretch and in the playoffs. This is number one because they had never, ever even been in the playoffs in my lifetime to that point. They will be my favorite all-time team until one wins the Big One (please be this year!).

2. Cubs clinching in 1989. I was out of college and working my first real job and had a bad case of bronchitus and flu in September and October that year. It may be the reason that first job didn't quite work out.

3. Zambrano's no-hitter. I have been waiting for one of these since, well, 1972. My memories of sports goes back to 1973, so this is the first Cub no-hitter in my conscious life. There have been so many close calls.

4. Wood's 20 strikeout game. This is actually a greater feat than a no-hitter, and probably a better pitched, more dominating game. I was so pumped about this game at the time because it gave a glimpse of the potential of our new young ace. If only things had worked out like they should have.

5. Game Four of the 2003 NLCS. It was the greatest feeling in the world knowing that the Cubs were just one game away from that elusive World Series. This was followed shortly by the worst feeling in the world in Game Seven of that series.

An amazing performance. He could have completed the no-no with just six fielders. There were only two fly balls all night, both to Derosa in right. I don't think Ramirez got a single assist either. The only well hit ball was the liner to Derosa in the 6th or 7th.

Z really helped himself out as well. That play on the dribbler in front of the plate early in the game was very nice and had no margin for error. He also gave a clinic on covering first base.

Hopefully CC's watching and learning.

My thoughts exactly, the play was pretty much a carbon copy of the Sabathia hit only on the other baseline. Z picked and fired cleanly, Sabathia couldn't.

What an amazing frickin time this was. And all for 30 bucks. I still can't go to sleep and I'm working in 6 hours.

Was Zambrano that dominant?

"No," manager Cecil Cooper said "It was a long travel day and Hurricane Ike. And having two days off. Not saying he wasn't good, but this was a pretty tough circumstance."

Cecil Cooper is a douche. He trying to be stubborn. 10 k's in 9ips pitch, no hitters, two balls even left the INF on the night. Yeah, Cecil he wasn't dominate. All Z did...........WAS OWN YOUR FREAKING BUTTS.....

I'm sure it had something to do with it, but that's 90% sour grapes.

And if he wants to complain to someone, tell him to complain to Drayton McLane, who is largely responsible for the circumstances.
