Well, now the radar doesn't look so "scattered." Pretty much all of southwest and west central MO is getting it right now, it appears. If that rolls in, we could be in trouble.

Meh, Felix is a callup, and Reed hasn't gotten a start in awhile. Reed is more likely to contribute in the playoffs, while Pie is likely to be sitting in his recliner during the playoffs.

 

What I'm worried about is the fact that Reed has started against righties lately instead of Edmonds.

 

Either:

1) Lou is punishing Edmonds for sucking hoping to spark him

2) Jim is hurt

3) The Cubs have determined that Edmonds hot streak was a fluke and his skills are diminished

4) Cubs are resting Edmonds as much as possible before the playoffs.
