Its gonna suck when that Howry call costs them the game.

Nah, the Badgers will blow it in such a way that the fumble call/no-call becomes a non-issue. I'm predicting they lose by 11.

Yeah but we all know that wont stop the badger fans from crying about it.

Oh.

My.

God.

Complete and total rip off. Payoff-level officiating.

Just simply the worst call in the history of football. There should be an investigation.

Isn't there a new rule in college football? It's no longer "a football move."

Now you have to take two steps for the catch to be complete. Or is that just the NFL?

From what I've been able to gather, there's no hard and fast rule - they just want you to establish possession in some way.

As an alum, I can guarantee you people are going to be pissed off about a lot more than just that call. The Badgers have had some really good teams over the years, but they're always getting killed because of bad QBing, unoriginal play-calling, and defenses that just tire out and become ineffective late in games and late in the season.

The bad call will get complaints, but there will be much more anguish over other issues with this team.

Glad to see this is going to be another infuriating season for the Badgers. That was a tough win, but I'm not happy with how this team stacks up with other teams in the BCS hunt.

My god, Oklahoma is sick.

Also. OSU runs the most predictable offense in the entire world. When Boeckmann is in, they're mostly gonna pass. When Pryor is in, he's probably gonna run. Come on OSU, that was pathetic play calling all game long.

I thought USC was going to win and probably easily. But even without Beanie, I didn't think they would win by 32 points.

IMO right now Ok and USC are the best teams. I didn't realize how fast OU was, wow. Nice win for Wisconsin.

The BE goes 2-1, all against BCS schools. A better showing than the previous week. This is the worst Syracuse team I have seen and I've been a fan since 69 and Robinson has reached a low that no other SU coach Has ever come near.

Well, after the embarassment that was Labor Day, it was nice to pick up the first win of the season. UAB is a bad team, but they played decently yesterday.

Crompton looked better, though not nearly as good as he'll have to for us to win 9-10 games this year. He was a little high on a few throws still and for some reason, still can't find Brandon Warren when our best receiver is open.

The running game should be ridiculously good this year. With Arian Foster, Montario Hardesty and Lennon Creer running well, we should be sick on the ground.

The defensive scheme was almost perfect to defend the spread option. Obviously, Florida is a whole heck of a lot more talented than UAB could ever dream of, but I liked the scheme the defense used and with the great athletes we have on defense, I think we'll keep Florida from scoring a ton.

Not much can be taken from playing UAB, but hopefully the game experience will be good for Crompton and Clawson in preparation for Saturday.

Duke wins again!!!! and they now have a better record than NC State. Who could have imagined that four years ago?

Granted, it's still very early in the year, but these stats don't surprise me at all:

Thad Lewis, 2008: 62.9 comp %, 6.8 yards/attempt, 5:0 TD:INT

Thad Lewis, 2007: 55.3 comp %, 6.75 y/a, 21:10 TD:INT

The difference, I think, will only get bigger as Lewis learns from Cutcliffe.

If you've been able to watch the games so far, what do you think about him?
