Sean must be stoned today. He looks a little slow.

I thought Cubs pitching only sucks if we tie the game or take the lead, not pull within one!

Did anyone else think Soto was safe at 2nd on that force place? I'm not sure Rollins ever touched the bag.

DAMNIT MARSHALL! :banghead:

It looked like he got the bag with his toes coming down.

This is what happens when you don't announce your pitcher until Sunday morning. Marshall was probably out late partying, not thinking he'd be starting.

(BTW, I'm kidding)

Did he have the ball in his glove at that point?

OK now I feel better about last inning.

Who can be our long man? Marhsall should be able to go more than 85-90 pitches, which might not take him into the 5th.

Yesterday, the Phillies got out of a similiar jam, and scored 2 the next inning. Let's score now Cubs!

How much has Gaudin pitched?

Yeah. Rollins had to jump to get the ball and it looked like when he came down he touched the bag.

I officially endorse Jason Marquis not losing his spot in the rotation to Sean Marshall.

Time to denounce Marquis and re endorse Marshall, cause it would be like 52 billon to 2 right now if that thing we call a 5th starter was pitching :D

This Jason Marquis hate is absurd.

52 Billion? Damn. If a good number 5 starter gave up more runs than all other pitchers combined in the history of baseball in 3 innings imagine what a bad number 5 starter could do.

C'mon ARam rip a double somewhere.

A home run would also be adequate.

Less likely with the wind. I am trying to be realistic here.
