OK now I feel better about last inning.

Who can be our long man? Marhsall should be able to go more than 85-90 pitches, which might not take him into the 5th.

How much has Gaudin pitched?

He's got 1.2 innings in the last week

Sean must be stoned today. He looks a little slow.

This is what happens when you don't announce your pitcher until Sunday morning. Marshall was probably out late partying, not thinking he'd be starting.

(BTW, I'm kidding)

It was his birthday yesterday....might be right

Not that Marshall is a known huge partier or anything, but I've seen pictures of him out before, so its reasonable to assume he was out for his birthday.

Then again, I'm sure he had some idea he might be starting, and he is married so I'm sure he wasn't out chasing tail all night.

Looking at the Brewers schedule, we are going to have to take care of them ourselves. Lots of SD, Cin and Pitt in September.

Argh. What a worthless player. If we can trade him in the offseason without paying for any of his contract or taking on more dead salary, it should be done. Edited by inari

We're being made to look silly by a junkballer. This is disgusting.

A soft tossing lefty beating the Cubs.....no way!

I think kouske stands to close to the plate. When he gets thrown inside it just eats him and all he does is ground to second Juan Pierre style. He should move away so he can get extension and get the sweet part of the bat on the ball

I thought we were past that weakness. Apparently not.

CC's at 86 pitches through 6 which means Yost will likely leave him in for another two innings.

I definitely think we make the playoffs this year, but the Brewers are far from done.

yeah something tells me that teams aren't going to be falling all over themselves to trade for a RF who's below average offensively and is due $38m over the next 3 years.

that is one ugly contract, fo' sho'.
