Yep. The ball hit the wall, fell down to the ground, and then he said it was fair.

I almost wish that this game wasn't being aired out here. And that's solely because of Dick Stockton.

Do they ever call the "not getting out of the way of a pitch" rule in the pros? I can't remember the last time I saw it called.

1965 against Don Drysdale.

Joe Crede early in 2005. Harrelson lost his mind over it, Darin Jackson said the batter isn't required to get out of the way, Crede was ejected and Jermaine Dye wound up playing SS.

It does bother me that the way this game is going, we will have 3 below average offensive games and 1 average offensive game in the last 4.

Geez Myers is really impressive today.

I hadnt been impressed... we had him on the ropes several times and failed to cash in. I hate stranding runners in scoring position. How many pitches has Meyers thrown? He's gonna pitch 8 innings? Stupid offense, oh well suppose we were due for a loss.

Myers pounding the outsider corner on almost every first pitch. It's frustrating to see it happen to us, but it is a thing of beauty to see from an outsiders perspective.

Myers at 97 pitches...he should be good for one more before we get to Lidge. We might have to put this one in the concede column. But our team has obviously come back from greater odds.

I don't see us winning this game and that's fine. We can't win them all...

hopefully Pitt will pull out a miracle win tonight.
