Yeah, we should be happy to have a talented player who sucks at every fundamental thing he ever tries to do backing up Theriot. He might suck, but he has good range and stuff.

You don't know that the same actions will happen if Ronny gets the bunt down.

 

Fukudome might strike out. He might homer.

 

No body knows anything other than it was a bad bunt. If it's executed the Cubs have better options; one of which was a sacfly.

That was just the Nats winning a weird game. This one has just been ugly. Poor execution, horrible defense, dropped third strikes, walks galore and bad managing.

Nope, but Lou did leave Z in for way too long. He's also wasted our 3rd best reliever for one out. He also double switched out the hottest hitter on the team. He also used Cedeno to PH and bunt even though he's a terrible bunter.

You know, when they play like the Cobs, it just pisses me off even more. When they were bad, it was expected and it was just a minor annoyance. But now that there are expectations, it's just far more frustrating. They are SO much better than they've shown tonight, and this is the second time in a week that they've looked like crap. If I didn't know better I'd think Dustyball was creeping its way back in, because the fundamentals have been AWFUL.
