FWIW, DeRosa was praising the hell out of Cedeno the other day on the radio. He really didn't have to say anything, but he's a big fan of his ability and said he's one of the most talented players on the team.

 

Cue jokes about it being because he can't take his job or something.

Every time I watch him it SEEMS like he's doing something boneheaded or just plain bad.

 

I don't argue with the statistics if they say he's good for a backup but it definitely feels like his net effect on this team is negative.

I'd agree with that. I don't deny that my dislike of Cedeno is probably a bit irrational. But it does seem that every time he gets into a game he does something [expletive]. Maybe he does so many stupid things that people like myself overlook the positives.
