Luis Montanez, who now goes by Lou Montanez, singles in the go-ahead run for Baltimore, the road team in the 14th inning of a game at Camden Yards. Strange times indeed.

In what is officially his first major league game. I think it also invalidates the fact that his first major league at-bat was a homerun (it's now a groundout).

Lol that's awesome.

I was watching this on Gameday, and freaked out when I didn't see a Cubs score on the other games.. Then I saw STL lose to CIN 4-3, and got happy... then I remembered that STL was off today and got confused again. Then I figured out that these were the scores of all the games on 4/28...and it all made sense to me.

Yep, Dave Trembley's an idiot. Here comes Dye to end it.

Yeah that made no sense. Walk Griffey to get to Dye AND put the winning run in scoring position? It worked out, but yikes

So Griffey went 2-4 with a double and a walk in that game, and took a walk as a White Sox in this game... :-k

He basically played for 2 different teams on the same day. Am I seeing this right?

Still a long way to go, but the DBacks are now 3.5 games ahead of the Dodgers, Manny and all.

Adam Dunn

Too bad he hates baseball though.

He isn't a good pure hitter, either.

I was sitting second row, halfway between third base and the LF foul pole at Camden Yards tonight. Awesome stadium. We didn't have the tickets in hand until the game from the 28th was almost over and showed up just in time for first pitch for tonight's game, and it was a pretty cool experience. I was surprised to see Sox fans in the dozens, and none of them really gave me much crap for wearing my Cubs hat. (Come on, I had to.) Crede made two or three pretty sweet plays, and Alexei Ramirez is really good at baseball. O's seemed to be hacking away at a lot of first pitches and getting into some short offensive innings, and Brian Roberts still thinks he plays here.

Also, they threw at Alphabet twice in his first AB, and he took a long look into the O's dugout and the O's bench got warned. I couldn't help but smile.
