That is the worst call I have ever seen and there have been plenty of bad ones. How in the hell could they determine that AJ did not initiate contact.

 

I don't blame AJ as he did the right thing, IMO.

 

But that ump should be punished.

 

Blame goes to Upton as well for not hustling again and Riggans for not catching a simple throw from LF in the btm of the 9th.

 

That's worse than the 85 WS against the Cards, which was the worst I had ever seen up until now.

I could never be a WS fan just because of Hawk alone. I don't mind "homer" announcers, but that guy forgets he's sitting in a booth and talking on national television instead of sitting at home on the couch, with a brew in one hand and other hand inside the top of his pants, ala Al Bundy.

Yea I agree the ump isnt going to overturn the call. Man I just really really hate MLB umpires.

 

The MLB umpires' union has too much power to where they don't become accountable for when they perform poorly or worse in this case.

 

If anyone questions whether or not someone is trying to fix a game, this is the best time to do so.
