Theres usually a lot of anger after a loss, not usually quite this much carnage and civil war. I guess the feeling of being pushed down to an unsurmountable 5 games in first really hit home with some people.

I think Lou should randomly pick one of their children and then punch that child in the face to show that he means business.

God that game was extremely annoying to go to. No energy from the crowd, not much offensive energy from the team. A loss is a loss, whatever we're 28 over, but its annoying that I've gone to 1/3 of the team's home losses this year (6 out of 18) and I've only gone to 12 games total at home.

In a way, its a good thing that every little loss promotes that kind of reaction. It shows that winning is expected, not just a pleasant surprise. a few years ago, wed have been happy not to get blown out and that Dusty didnt shorten anyones career.

When the Cubs win out on this homestand, tonight will be an afterthought. In factnot only will the Cubs pick up this game back in the standings, but they will pick up an addition game before the homestand ends. Brewers down 7 games in the standings after this week is over, sounds about right.

My post on the Cubs Discussion worked. At least we didn't get a lot of negativity towards the team and all directed at me. I just wanted to show everyone how dumb they look when they complain at all during this season after one loss. I'm glad I got bashed though. Funny it came from the exact people that would have been bitching about the result of the game, but got to take out their anger on me. :D

Agreed. Get Dan Aykroyd and Daniel Stern to detain UMFan and Mojo at the end of the regular season and don't release them until the playoffs are over. :twisted:
