I'm not saying Soriano shouldn't be criticized when he does dumb stuff, but Bob sure likes to overstate the dumb stuff. Fans will pick up and run with those comments.

Soriano didn't think he hit a HR and end up with a double. He thought he hit a HR and ended up with a double. It's not a little thing. Soriano has multiple times watched doubles and ended up having to slide into what should have been a stand-up double. This was different, he didn't even get to 2nd. It is a big deal, and it is absolutely ridiculous that people are downplaying and acting like Bob is in the wrong for complaining.

He walked to first base when he should have been standing on 2nd. I'm not one to get overly critical on hustle, but this was bad.
