In other news: Lance Berkman is stupid:

(At the bottom)

After one particularly jarring explosion, Houston's Lance Berkman threw off his metal chain and then sprinted off the field, refusing to risk electrocution.

Really?

He does realize that the little bit of metal is not going to do anything, right?

Tell that to Geremi Gonzalez.

THE CUBS WILL win this game.

The baseless optimism by some is almost as annoying as the baseless pessimism displayed by most in the game threads.

I have a feeling it'd be a tie if there were nearly as many making baseless good predictions.

I had this feeling that when Harden would have a shaky start, that'd be when the Cubs would actually score to make up for those games where he was spot on and couldn't buy a win.

We have to lead the league in DP's. It's ridiculous. Nice job, Lee and A-Ram.

93 DP's coming into the game, tied for 13th in the ML and tied for 5th in the NL.

If we do, it's a symptom of a good thing.

I'll let you figure that part out.

Yea how dare Lee go 3-4 today damn him

What's that have to do with the bottom of the 6th with your 3-4 hitters up and you can't score?

When you are 20+ over .500 and are leading the game, there is no such thing as baseless optimism.
