Personally, I don't see why MLB can't come up with some type of padding that would be allowed for pitchers to use if they should have some type of blister or other injury on their hand.

 

Too much room for shenanigans, and I don't see why they should consider allowing it.

wait, so yesterday he wasn't going to sim game because he wasn't close.. so today he does a sim game. he must be prepping for his shoulder replacement!!

It was mentioned on today's telecast that the problem isn't a blister, but rather an open wound with missing skin.

 

Here's a lesson for all you kids out there, can't be too careful with slumpbusters.
