To start, I did not hear this myself. Got it from Cubs.com. It was posted that Levine said the Cubs are interested in Milton Bradley.

Between rumblings about Ibanez, Giles, DeJesus and Bradley, (someone else has said this too) I think it's pretty obvious Edmonds' health status has the Cubs concerned.

 

ETA: And of course Edmonds is starting today.

Bradley interest is actually a bit shocking since he's currently hurt. Maybe he's not hurt as much as it was originally thought?

I would LOVE Milton Bradley. I was actually surprised Hendry never made a run at him when he was available for next to nothing. Our offense would be SICK with this guy.

Not likely if the Cubs are shopping Eyre.

 

Most likely they are going to get very very little for Eyre, so why not keep him. If shopping Eyre blocks a Milton Bradley acquisition then this team is [expletive]. And we have Cotts anyway.
