Maybe people should drink less if that's actually gonna be a problem.

that would be stupid

Yea, i guess it would be silly to pay more attention to a baseball game(while at one) than just get wasted.

Yes, it would be stupid to purposefully curtail your drinking (ie, fun).

Well, if you can't control your bladder, maybe you should(or if you drink so much while at a game where you fill your bladder, you obviously have had way too much anyways). If you wanna get really drunk and watch a game on the side, i'd recommend going to a bar. The drinks would be cheaper. I guess i'm old fashioned in the way that if you are going to a baseball game, you should probably pay a bit of attention to it.

Aren't you the one complaining about the troughs?

I'd recommend you worry about yourself and get off your high horse. Going to the games should be fun, if people like drinking at games fine. If you want to sit on your butt for 3 straight hours, great, if others don't mind getting up every once in a while for the 3-4 minute task of pissing, why do you care? You aren't being old fashioned, you're being ridiculous.

Thanks for the help so far, and please keep it coming.

I for sure will be getting some Chicago Pizza =P~

You do know you have to be wearing Cubs garb to get in, right?

Yep, it appears the one who complains about the bathrooms should be the one to curtail drinking. I'm guessing most of the Wrigley faithful who enjoy their beer and baseball aren't complaining about the configuration of the bathrooms that allow them to enjoy both beverage and ballgame in an efficient manner.

Like I said, it's taking a piss. Are we men really getting particular about where we take a piss. If you have to drop a duece or are a woman, then maybe the condition of the restroom is a concern. If not, it's time to grow a pair and just piss wherever you can.

I honestly can't remember the last time I went to a Cubs game and wasn't intoxicated. It's a all day and all night event, you're going to get loopy.

You must be going to some old fashioned baseball games indeed if you can't take a piss in between innings.

This won't be of any help unless someone knows what I'm talking about because I don't live in Chicago.

I have a family friend who lives roughly 10 minutes from Wrigley. About 5 minutes from his house, still in that 10 minute Wrigley vicinity, is this quaint little Argentinian restaurant across the street from this crusty looking bowling alley.

That restaurant was some of the best food I've had. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, that'd be awesome, I'd like to know the name of the place as I might visit a friend who just moved up there soon and would like to go back.

To my knowledge there's no bowling alley across from it, but Tango Sur on Southport is Argentinian, could be described as quaint, and is very good. Southport just south of Grace.

Malnati's > Giordano's but Gio's is a good pizza experience.

Hancock > Sears Tower unless you just want to be able to say you've been to the top of the Sears. Also, the Signature Lounge in the Hancock which was mentioned above is good for the drink + view, but unless you walk down the aisles of people eating their meals you don't get the full 360 degree views.

I also recommend the architectural tours, which I have never been on but most people visiting me from out of state have and really enjoy.

If you're a museum kind of person you pretty much can't go wrong if you just pick one that sounds like it interests you.

Finally, the simpler things like just walking around downtown or hitting the beach for a few hours are also enjoyable.

The Museum of Science and Industry is really fun if you like mechanical things and want something different than old bones or dolphins. People don't mention it as much because it's not on the Museum campus (it's a bit South), but I really like it. Especially the awesome model train set that fills an entire wing, and the U505 German Sub.

I've never been drunk at a game. I simply can't afford it.

In other news, every bathroom on the concourse at The Cell has about 20 urinals and dudes still pee in the sink, so the trough is not exactly the worse I've seen

If you're staying in the loop or Mag Mile and are a runner/jogger -- an early (or not so early) morning run on the lakefront is pretty cool. It's a nice way to sweat yesterday's beer out.

See, I still have not made a choice on this yet. I might cheer for the Cubs just because it would be against the Cards. But.. Man. Its going to be a ackward situation no matter what.

I was there most recently just about a year ago. The train set and sub are both nice, and I also like the baby chick display (get your mind out of the gutter, Vance :D ) and Yesterday's Main Street.

I don't, but if others do, live and let live (as long as they aren't so drunk as to be distracting from others' enjoyment of the game).

I have a blast at baseball games. I have even more fun when there's beer involved

I'll never be able to drink at a baseball game, just because I know that if I do I will no longer pay any attention to the game. I'm there for the baseball, I'll drink later than night when I get home.

What type of bags are allowed in wrigley?

I couldnt find this online.....so Id appreciate the help.

I'll be going from game to navy pier and wanted to save time by not going back to hotel. Is a regular book bag too big to be allowed in park?

If not what about a small plastic bag from the grocery store? also do tehy allow bottled water to be brought in?

Roast can probably handle this one, but yes, you can bring bottled water or any soda for that matter. A small back pack is fine, and I've never had much problem with mine.
