It looks like my first game thread will be the last game in the Brewers series!!

Are you seriously predicting a 7 game losing streak?

Uh, no. How did you get that?

You're 7 losses away from starting a game thread and if you're first game thread is the last game of the Brewers series, that would mean we will next the next 7 games.

I didn't know posters keep posting game threads until they lose. Mah bad.

So, hopefully, you'll start the game thread after next year's first loss.

Well, the sweep hurts our chances of winning the division, but it really helps our chances of making the playoffs. Winning the wild card might not actually be the worst thing for this team. In a short series the only 2 teams that can really match up with our 1-2 starters are Milwaukee and Arizona. Obviously we can't possibly play Milwuakee in a short series, and if we win the wild card we'd likely avoid Arizona and play the East winner in the NLDS. I don't think the Mets or Phillies match up well with us in a short series at all. The only question is whether or not home field advantage is more important that all that.

Have you seen the home/road splits??

Wow. Braun sure did admire his homer.

Wrong team to do it against with Mr., don't you dare throw at my guys, but I'll throw at your children's skull, managing the other team.

I'm calling brawl in the next matchup between these 2.

(and hopefully Braun, Hardy, Hall, Weeks, Sabathia, and Sheets get 2 month suspensions out of it)

This is what I tried to say yesterday, but you say it so much better.

Could you find a way to punctuate it better for me?

Lifting a quote from brewerfan from the other night, assessing what a fight between the two teams would be like...

Skip Schumaker 5-10 195 lbs. (played for the chess team in high school)

Cesar Izturis 5-9 190 lbs. (collects butterflies)

Aaron Miles 5-8 185 lbs. (wet)

Randy Flores 6-0 190 lbs. (actually owns a pocket protector)

CC Sabathia 6-7 290 lbs. (give or take 50 lbs.)

Seth McClung 6-6 250 lbs. (doesn't like people)

Prince Fielder 5-11 270 lbs. (Weebles wobble but they don't fall down)

Russell Branyan 6-3 195 lbs. (can bench press a Volvo)

Gabe Kapler 6-2 190 lbs. (can bench press a Volvo with Russell Branyan sitting inside)

It might just be worth the suspensions to see that, depending on how many games ahead the Brewers are in the wildcard.

Wow i still can't belive we won last night, for how bad we looked for 8 innings. The brewers could have easyly lost 3 out of 4. The brewers could not hit with men on base.

Now Milwaukee goes home to face the Astros.

Didn't the Astros go into Tampa Bay and take two of three from the hot, "unbeatable" Rays after they had swept the Cubs?
