Kyle is a low risk low reward QB.

 

reeaaally? how so? maybe in public opinion, but Orton can be just as volitable as Grossman, and they have virtually the same contract.

 

He wasn't talking about contract. He was saying that Kyle's highs aren't as high as Rex's, and his lows aren't as low as Rex's.

 

fair enough, although they both have lows that make me cringe.

Tom Thayer reported that Chris Williams had back surgery to repair a herniated disc. It shouldnt be season ending and Tom said he had the same thing done in one of his off seasons and came back fine. Still a downer as i was interested to see what Williams could do.

It's supposedly unrelated to the back spasms Williams had earlier.

i would think so considering the bears had the ball for like 2 minutes in the 1st half.

Time to move Tait back over. Bears look to be getting close to reacquiring Miller at RT. Some sources say Williams is out for the year. I say put Williams out there because the lien is going to be lying on their backs after a second anyway. At least we will be using out well-paid LT to lie on the ground and get trampled on.

One overthrow? He's been stuck with two 3rd and longs. Hard to really do anything there.

Haas makes all the plays, but couldn't even get any PT last year when the Bears weren't going anywhere. Same with Beekman. Ridiculous.

his mechanics never improve. the constant failure of running the offense just doesn't bring out the optimism in me.

 

forte, hester, gould and the fact that it looks like we will have 3 good tight ends gives me hope for this offense.

but if you wanna talk throwing mechanics, Orton isn't even in the same league as Grossman...

 

Anyway, I really wish we had an offensive line, because if we did, the offense would actually be decent.
