Theriot now hitting .327 on the season.

I still can't understand how we had so many all-stars and that guy was not one of them.

Probably because people look at his numbers and say he only has 1 HR and 25 RBI's. That could be the only explanation I know of. He probably would've looked 10 times better representing the Cubs than Kosuke did at the plate and Soto.

He's now tied for 4th in the NL in average with Holliday.

It'll be either Marmol or Howry to close today, so lots more runs would be preferred.

Howry has absoultely no reason being allowed to close out a game.

In other news Scott Baker of the twins had a no hitter through 5 2/3. Then gave up a solo homer and another hit in the 7th and the Twins trail the Rangers 1-0.

Rangers have 2 hits Twins have 3 hits a pitching duel I would have to say ha

He has experience doing it, dude. That gets him the Budhouse Seal of Approval .

Yea he also has experience at being downright horrible for every month but 1 this year. Hes terrible right now, and is giving up hard hits like crazy. I have zero confidence in him this year.

You gotta give the Cubs credit where it's due. Many Cubs fans were outraged that the Cubs were not addressing their SS issue in the offseason. So far he's looked really good this year. Still has horrible range at SS and tends to make dumb decisions from time to time, but overall he's been more than fine.

David Newhan PHing again. I'm kneecapping the little stain if he triples again.

Is he Berkman's brother...He looks like him.

One good thing about the starters lately is that they have been going much deeping into ballgames, leaving the bullpen mostly rested.
