Because it was a shitty call and the ump knew it. Generally umps are more inclined to allow that sort of thing when they know they screw up. I knew that I would when I was umpiring.

 

I guess so....yelling some words while you walk back to the dugout or throwing your hands in the air is one thing. But hopping up and down like a 2 year old throwing a temper tantrum seems quite a bit excessive.
