Also, I've never been so excited for a HR derby. Lots of unknowns to the casual baseball fan, so it feels like it's all guys I've personally discovered. I can't wait to see Hamilton live, and I might even root for Braun a little bit. Can't wait

I attended the one at Wrigley. It was sort of fun being there for it. Although I don't even remember all the participants. McGwire, Canseco, Fielder were a few I remember. I also remember that during batting practice McGwire picked up Griffey and held him up over his head. Two arms over his head and he just held him up horizontally.

 

I also still have the pink hat they gave out. Although I would never think to ever wear it unless I want to be pink hat guy part II.

 

Anyways.......I'll go with Morneau in tonight's derby.
