Self Explanatory.

For me it's between Wall-E and Finding Nemo. I went with Wall-E, but really it was very very close.

I've seen all but Wall-E, which I plan to see soon.

It seems that ever since "Incredibles", the movie quality has still been fantastic, but they haven't done nearly as well at the box office as the others.

Los Increíbles, of course. Monters, Inc. is a close second.

Good poll.

In order of favorites (and aside from Wall-E, which I've seen once, i've seen each of the others at least 20 times each.....having kids will do that):

1. Monsters, Inc.

2. Toy Story

3. Finding Nemo

4. Wall-E

5. The Incredibles

6. Toy Story 2

7. Ratatouille

8. Cars

9. A Bug's Life

I went with The Incredibles.

I think Wall-e is good but dont quite understand all the love for it. I would put it close to the bottom of the Pixar list

Wow. This was a tossup for me between A Bugs Life and Toy Story 2. I haven't seen Ratatouille or Wall-E yet. But not a big fan of Cars or Nemo. Incredibles would be a close 3rd for me.

Ratatouille or The Incredibles right now are the two movies I'd pop in and watch at any moment given the chance. Haven't seen Wall-E yet, though.

Monsters, Inc., A Bug's Life, Cars, and Finding Nemo are probably on the low end of the spectrum for me. Not sure where Toy Story/2 fit in there.

I'm surprised at how much love The Incredibles is getting. I haven't seen Cars or Ratatouille, but it's the only one I can definitely say would NOT be at the top of my list. I really don't know where to start though, they're all pretty great. I agree about A Bug's Life being underrated too, I watched it a couple months back and was amazed at the voice talent that was in that movie.

I've never seen Cars, but I'd bet money it wouldn't be in my top half. Also, how can somebody like Toy Story 2 more than the original? That seems crazy. I took Nemo.

Including Toy Story in this poll is just not fair. Not only was it groundbreaking but possibly the best "buddy comedy" ever made and responsible for the 2nd wave of great animation that made the break between Lion King and Toy Story bearable.

Think about this...

Without Toy Story, none of these other movies would ever have happened. neither would have Shrek, Over the Hedge, Happy Feet, Surf's up or Kung Fu Panda. Or would Disney have given the reins back to the creative and entertaining people that will create a new theme park revival in 5 years to rival the original theme park craziness.

You have to vote Toy Story but it is not a fair poll. Take out Toy Story and it gets MUCH harder.

Monsters Inc. is truly an incredible story and told VERY well. Simple concept (monsters in the closet/under the bed) and takes it to such an incredibly well developed level showed that storytelling is back and is what makes movies good.

Ratatouille changes gears and gets very Adult in parts (takes incredibles family disfunction back plot to the forefront) and sets the stage to say that an adult animated movie can be successful (see Wall-e). It should get points just for making a rat in a kitchen a hero.

Cars is beautifully done and enjoyable to watch but ultimately a coming of age film without the sex jokes (except for the ridiculously funny "tramp stamp" part_

Wall-e is such a gorgeous film that it deserves to sit in an art gallery without sound (i know part of its invention - Ben Burtt is a sound genius) and let it run on continuous loop. It got VERY preachy from the beginning and lost the story once they went into space.

Incredibles was a calculated risk making animation fun for kids but very serious in parts by having a realistic home life depicted througha father's mid life crisis. Although the "fun" part of the movie (super powers) were a complete rip off from the fantastic four it still worked because of the character development.

Pixar has had some incredible success and most of it can be attributed to creative risks and absolutely and extremely talented storytellers. Look at a movie that you REALLY like and the reason is because it tells you a story. Blockbusters like transformers don't tell a story in as much as they go for spectacles to show us unbelievable things. Pixar uses put of the ordinary settings to tell a story.

Since I haven't seen Wall-E (yet, stupid Belgian theaters don't show it yet), I went with Rattatouille. Can change though, once I see Wall-E.

Anyone else not like WALL-E? Not only did I find the plot to be oversimplified and boring,

WALL-E was upstaged by the ship captain... who's the protagonist: the captain or WALL-E?

I also found it lacking the smart over-kids'-heads humor that made the other pixar movies fun for the whole family. It's like the other Pixars were Seseme Street and WALL-E was The Teletubbies or worse -- Barney.

Monsters Inc. is not only the best Pixar movie, it's one of the best all time kid movies that aren't too mindless for parents to watch as well.

Toy Story is not far behind though, so don't eat me alive.

I saw the WALL-E previews and thought it was going to be horrible, I was surprised at all the good reviews it recieved but obviously it better than they showed in the preview.

A Bugs Life is a metaphor for the Communist overthrow of the Bourgouisie.

I'd say Monster's Inc but my daughter watched it about 400 times and that kinda ruined it a little.

My son says that Wall e is better than Star Wars but I haven't seen it yet.

That leaves Toy Story as the top choice.

that's kind of a stretch. I haven't seen it in a while, but I think the metaphor is much more general than that. The ants have their own ordered society, so they don't really fit into a strict "proletariat" mold, and the grasshoppers or katydids or whatever those things are don't wear culottes, so they clearly aren't the bourgeoisie.

either way, it's a tired metaphor

Monsters Inc. ftw

By 1848 no one was wearing culottes.

Worker ants unite to overthrow their useless overlords. Then they start an ideallistic society that thrives and makes unbriddled progress. Flick's epiphany is the very embodiment of class consciousness.
