I was stuck with the SF broadcast last night, but their announcers are pretty good. They had nothing but nice things to say about the Cubs when they were doing well, didn't get all bitter and mopey when the Cubs were up big, etc. It was refreshing after listening to morons like Hawk and Brennemen

Agreed. I liked them quite a bit actually.

Its amazing isn't it? Between basic cable and the internet service I ended up paying $180 a flippin' month! Don't know how it happened it just did. Traded it for Sat and DSL and never looked back.

Cox in Oklahoma is pretty good. They haven't raised my rates but once a year, but I think they converted to using mice to move information through their internets.

We had them for just basic cable and HBO last year to watch the Sopranos. When we called to cancel the HBO, the guy found some way to give it to us free for a year. So they're OK in my book. :D

I like Comcast but it's expensive with the cable modem and all..Does DirectTV have any cool channels like MojoHD or anything and do they have the same amount or more HD channels? OnDemand is also pretty cool

I finally get a WGN game again, have to stay up way past my bedtime to watch it, and they stick us with Jason Marquis? He better not suck tonight.

 

Marquis pretty good against the Giants in his career, going 4-0 with an ERA in the 2s. We need a decent start from him, as it is July, and his complete collapse is just around the corner.

 

But he's been pretty much in collapse mode all season...well, in the least very consistent. I'm nervous whenever he takes the hill, as I'm sure most others are.
