OO, I miss the summaries you usually do. If it's a time thing, no biggy, but if you just thought nobody looked at them, I did all the time.

My new job has some rough time constraints, especially in terms of getting to bed relatively early. When I'm going to bed, most games either are just finishing up or are still ongoing. I still do summaries the next day after I get back from work rather than the night the games finish up.

Boise up 5-0 after 3 innings.

Vitters (SF), Burke twice (SF), Brenley and Rundle have all flied out to the warning track...this game has been uglier than 5-0...both of Burke's SFs were with bases loaded...the second one caught in front of the 380 sign. Brenly mashed one too.

Flaherty is 1-for-1 and HBP.

For Casey Coleman on the mound, 9 outs, no hits.

The weather sounds bleh out there. 59 degrees and partly cloudy?

I'm guessing warmer weather would help the hitters a tad bit.

It's good to see that Ascanio was finally able to make it back to the team. He hadn't pitched in 12 days.

craig to iowa plz

Agree in theory, but where does he play? Move Hoffpauir to outfield? But yeah, the guy can hit and walks about every 4th PA.

can't he still play third base? i guess my wanting him in iowa is mostly because i think he has a chance to be a decent bat off the bench in the majors, and you're running out of time to find out.

Hoff 2-4 with a HR and a double. Meanwhile Matt Murton, Ronny Cedeno, and Mike Fontenot continue to be Matt Murton, Ronny Cedeno, and Mike Fontenot.

The problem with Hoffpauir is that the Cubs aren't happy with his OF defense and with Ward on the team, he doesn't have a spot.

Fontenot and Cedeno are middle infielders. The Cubs are going to carry 2 middle infielders on the bench. Unless Micah can learn to play 2b or SS, he's not going to get one of those spots.

Murton is here because he's RH. He'll be gone with Soriano or Johnson return.
