You always want to have home field advantage anyways, but wow do we ever need to see the NL win the AS Game this year.

 

You know, just in case the Cubs might be playing in late October........ just in case. :-$

 

I have a feeling that the Cubs will get it together on the road. They obviously wont be as good as they are at home, but they'll end up over .500 on the road.

 

The thing about it is, the Cubs haven't played bad on the road for the most part - bats can take a long time to come around sometimes - they just don't have that "magic" in those games that they do at home.

 

I agree. They might not finish over .500 on the road, but I think they will finish between .470 and .500.

 

I hate to put the cart before the horse, especially with this organization, but damn would be it be nice to see the number 100(+) in that left hand column at the end of the season.

Well, let's be perfectly fair, as deplorable an act as throwing garbage on the field is, that's pretty much all the '06 team was worth...

 

Oh I agree 100%. My friend always got really pissed about it and I'd just say "throwing garbage at garbage."

 

I think I'd have to slug anyone throwing garbage on the field at Wrigley...it gives all good Cubs fans a bad name.
