If Zambrano is significantly injured I might have to stop watching baseball altogether. Theres no way that we can get a great team ever again, is there?

Proposal to mods: topical ban, Rays series.

1. Game threads deleted.

2. Posts referring to the series, deleted.

3. Stats that take into account the series, adjusted.

I can't wait till the Rays staff gets Price up as well as Davis, McGee, and Hellickson.

I cant wait until the Yakees and Red Sox buy all their players and they go back to being perenial celler dwellers.

Bitter? Unfort. TB is locking up all their key pieces.

Nuts. Shields and Kazmir are keepers too. Add any 3 of those 4 and their rotation is nuts.

Were still 3.5 games in first and the series never happened.

I kinda wish the Rays got good before they switched their unis to these horrible ones. I actually liked their green uniforms. Now those nifty green unis are going to represent failure and despair, while the blue unis will represent the new dominant era of Tampa Bay baseball.

hahaha this guy is owning us hardcore. I think I'm done watching the Cobs for the rest of the year. I can't stand another heartbreak from them.

We never have the lucky breaks.

...

IMB! is making more and more sense.

I understand his point, however us Cub fans are used to the worst crap happening to us. We've sustained to bad injuries in the past few weeks, and our pitching just isn't up to par with some of the other rotations out there.

We're playoff bound, but I'd be so much more comfortable with the juggernaut type of team we were in the first 1.5 months of the season.

So we have no good positive history to draw off of and thats why we're all for the most part pessimistic about our baseball team.

You're forgetting Garza as well, who will be a #2 starter very soon.

Except few teams are dominant over the complete season. And the Cubs have had tons of breaks go their way this season that has helped put them where they are.

Keep in mind, the 1908 Cubs made the World Series by the skin of their teeth.
