The Big 12 North is 0-5 thus far.

And Mizzou probably has the easiest path now...

 

I wouldn't say that. If we win tonight we have to play either you or OSU (probably you) in Oklahoma. I have zero confidence that we'd be able to win under those circumstances.

 

Plus, and more importantly, we're Mizzou. It's never as easy as it looks.

Wow. IU sure saved one of their worst efforts of the season for last. With Dumes out, 2 of Williams, Pritchard, Story, or Roth had to step up to score along with Jones. None of them did which made it an automatic blowout. Plus, they looked tired on the boards today and couldn't get to the loose balls.

 

And why was PSU one of the first teams in the Big 10 to press IU today? That was a great coaching move and I'm shocked it wasn't every single night all Big 10 season with the way IU handles the ball.

 

Well, it's good for the Big 10 with a good chance of getting 8 in now.

Gottlieb.......yeah I saw that and thought it was pretty damn weak. The Big Ten actually did have some decent OOC games this season. I think the conference was actually stronger this season and that is why you have approximately 8 teams that were still technically alive for a NCAA bid heading into the B10 tourney. It is just the fact we didn't have any sexy, Final Four type teams really.

 

I say PSU is in right now regardless.

Also having just watched an Indiana basketball team finish 6-25 I must say it wasn't as tortuously bad a season as I imagined. Mainly because the kids managed to stay close in way more games than I expected. It wasn't like we lost by 20-30 points every night.

 

But thank god it is over and I feel a sense of relief. I do believe we will have an overall winning record next season. \:D/

MSU

Illinois

Purdue

Wisconsin

Ohio State

Michigan

Minnesota

Penn State

 

I personally believe all 8 should be in...but if the committee decides that the Big Ten doesn't deserve 8 teams, its pretty clear that Penn State is the team that as of right now is the team that's out. I think PSU should be in though, I think they have the potential to make a run in the NCAAs.

I think Penn State is in unless a couple crazy things happen in the conference tourneys. As of this moment they are probably in the top 64 and need to hope a lot of favorites win in the next few days. Miami and Providence losing today helped solidify their position.
