Good win. These guys need some reward. They've been playing pretty well despite being so short-handed and young. At least they've been better than their record shows.

Terrible loss for Michigan and that might be a dagger.

The new gold uniforms wouldn't be so bad if the collar wasn't so messed up. The black roads look pretty sweet though.

Yup that's it for Michigan. Everytime they get on some sort of run, and I get my hopes up, they get crushed by a game like this.

College basketball sucks, I'll never get to see Michigan in the NCAAs.

Thanks. Wasn't a Michigan fan back then. Started following them in 1998, which coincidentally was the last year they made the NCAAs. Terrible decision on my part to root for them.

I think today has to be the first time I've ever seen a team have 4 guys play 45 minutes in a 45 minute game. I don't know that I can remember 4 playing 40.

Post-Game Brawl

About 20 minutes after the USC-Washington game ended, witnesses said Trojan guards Daniel Hackett and Dwight Lewis got into a shoving match on the court and arena security needed to break up the altercation.

According to witnesses, Hackett originally became agitated toward a group of college-age students. Lewis then appeared on the court and appeared to defend the students. That led to words between he and Hackett and the pair began shoving each other until security intervened.

Witnesses said Hackett was escorted back toward the locker room by a member of the basketball staff but that he reappeared a few minutes later in agitated state.

It's looking like the Daniel Hackett-Dwight Lewis altercation was just one of several incidents yesterday. Two Trojans also got into an argument during a timeout and one USC player made a vulgar gesture to another during the game.

The post-game altercation between Daniel Hackett and Dwight Lewis apparently started when a friend of Lewis yelled at Hackett after the Trojans' loss to Washington on Saturday night, according to sources. Hackett returned to the court about 20 minutes after the game and sought the fan. That led to Lewis returning to the court and the ensuing altercation.

Die in a fire.

Nice work Michigan. Way to completely blow a game that should have been won when you had a chance to make it to the Tourney.

college age students? strange way or wording that.

I'm nervous about Purdue's game against Michigan this weekend. I feel like it could be a trap game before the Mich St. game. Lets just make sure we don't slip up in the next two games and then whatever happens in the Mich St. game happens

I don't know why you're assuming that. We'll still have trouble defending Warren. And we're still a bunch of freshmen and sophomores that have a tendency to jeckyll and Hyde. Yiou have had trouble stopping guards, though, so hopefully Collins can exploit that. Need a big game from him.

Willie Warren is going to become a 1st round draft pick tonight.

We really have no one capable of guarding him. Maybe Little. Maybe Releford. But I have a feeling he'll go off.

He should already have been one.

I don't know. He's an undersized 2, and while his shot goes in, it is ugly.

When it comes time for evaluation, there's going to be a lot to pick at

That white guard who has been popping 3s for Oklahoma looks like a friend of mine. I've done a double take a couple times now.
