Apparently the refs are going to allow Wisconsin to throw forearms to Purdue players faces tonight. That was an ugly foul by Krabbenhoft and it went uncalled. He fully extended his arms.

And Lewis Jackson should yell at whatever guy on his team didn't call that screen out. I don't blame Krabenhoff at all, his man however should get an earful.

Yeah, he does that. He hit Matt Gatens with an elbow and Gatens got called for the foul when he grabbed him to keep himself from falling.

is it just me, or does it seem like there aren't even enough "good" teams to fill the Top 25 this year? Feels like a year where the top seeds in the tourney are going to stomp their way to the Elite 8

It seemed that way for football too. A lot of mediocre top 25 teams.

man what has gotten into this random white guy for wisconsin?

He was a top-100, 4-star recruit.

who was averaging 4 PPG this season and had made 1 three pointer in his college career.

Yeah, Colorado isn't going winless in the Big12 this year. I believe two players scored points in the 2nd half for ISU. That's 4 losses in a row @CU. Awesome.

If someone had told me three years ago, when ISU had hired McDermott, they would be this bad at this time. I wouldn't have believed it.

Thought it was over when Purdue got down by 5 but big threes late brought us back. It was a very much needed win. One game out of first. If we can take care of the definite should wins and get back at Illinois on the road we will be 10-2 heading into a home game against MSU.

Good luck winning at Illinois.......that is unless we go into the "I'm pretty sure we're going to win but let's see how close we can make it" offense at the end of the game with a lead. UI almost gave the game against Wisky back because of it.

He threw a elbow on that...Smart play by him, but a cheap shot

Umm he was lights out from three and yea I saw that stat....It had nothing to do with him being a big recruit he's a 4 or a 5 who went 5-5 from three point range and had only hit 1 three in his career before that

i think it was your objective journalist friend who was the one being a little overconfident. illinois at c-u is likely to be a much tougher game tham msu at purdue, so i have no idea why he chose to leap over the illini.

Well both were somewhat, but still U of I shouldn't think they "pretty sure we're going to win" they beat us in overtime and we've been on fire since the Penn State loss. I'm not ripping U of I, but it's Big Ten basketball...you never should have a game where you pretty sure your going to win this year unless it's against Iowa or IU....everyone else will put up a game

Illinois has won their last 8 home games, and their last 2 against Purdue.

Good for Gillespie, good thing they didn't interview him after the game like that after that miserable performance or him why UK didn't put more pressure on the ball or why they got destroyed on the boards or allowed 85 points to a bad SEC team.

Can someone tell me why Gillispie was fouling Ole Miss when they were down by 11 at like 35 sec were left? I felt like he was just trying to improve Meeks numbers
