Theriots season OBP is now over 40%.

A little late again, but, also approaching a .360 career OBP...I don't understand how he has managed to perform this well, but I'll take it.

Yet there are still quite a few that think Cedeno is getting screwed.

The little ESPN ticker updated, and it's now 8-0 Cardinals. I don't even want to check to see how they scored.

Brendan Ryan knocked in Braden Looper, who doubled to raise his average to .385.

ETA: Actually he knocked in LaRue. Looper still on base.

I really hope that it wasn't on an Izturis homerun

Geez. Don't bother hustling down the line or anything, DeRo

He has no grit.

Maybe he thought that since he is playing left field he had to not be gritty.

I know the Cardinals are playing extremely well, but the Cubs have been so good I don't really care. Also, I can't get too worked up about the standings in June. The Cubs will be fine if they just keep it up.

I said to my friend: "every time I check on a game where Looper his pitching, he doubles."

he said "flip it on now, hes up"

I flip it on, right on cue, he doubles. Sick.

Three straight hits from the murderer's row of LaRue, Looper, and Ryan.

Well, on the bright side, at least the Cards are putting away Dusty Baker's Reds -- probably for good. I was getting a tad nervous about them. If the Cards can put away the Stros, Crew, and Reds......then collapse later on, I think we'll all take it.

The Reds were in last place and were 3-5 in their last two series before they played the Cards.

You have to admit, it's probably frustrating for the Cardinals as well.

Yeah, but they're doing it with Ludwick, Ryan, Miles, Schumacher, Looper, and Wellemeyer.

From soxtalk:

Possible good news for the Sox....Soriano just got hit in the hand, hopefully it's broke or effects him for the next few weeks when we play them 6 times

The difference is that beyond DeRosa, Theriot and Dempster, they don't really have any reason to wonder if we have any magical powers. And those three combined don't even remotely approach the BS of Ryan Ludwick let alone all the other idiots they have playing well.

We've gone quiet and are waiting for Theriot's decline.

If it doesn't happen, we won't complain. :D
