Edmonds is growing on me.

I approve of Jim Edmonds on the Chicago Cubs, he has turned the corner, and I enjoy his presence in the lineup as long as he continues to contribute

Jim Edmonds is ---SOAPDROPPING--- awesome

Maybe just maybe this Edmonds thing will work out this year.....as much as I bashed him at the start, he is starting to prove me and everyone else wrong.

The end times are upon us. But that's okay, given what they say about the Cubs and hell freezing over.

Perhaps it takes a hated player such as Edmonds on the Cubs in order to deliver us to the promised land.

Somebody get the Bears to give Brett Favre a call.

Jim Edmonds hits a walkoff home run to give the Cubs a World Series title.

He looks like this as it's leaving:

Except, you know, wearing a Cubs uniform.

And NSBB explodes in a swirling mess of contradictions.

Classic. Very nice.

CUBS are 31-1 when they lead after 7 innings

Go CUBS !!

That's pretty absurd.

Still, please no Marmol here. Use Eyre and Howry to mop this up unless the Padres inch closer.

cotts for one more, then eyre

Unfortunately, it looks like Lou is going to use Marmol in his continued quest to wear him down by September. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

If you want to pitch like it's 2005, that'd be totally cool, Cotts.

How sweet will it be to see Cotts regain his 2005 form while Aardsma pitches for the (Red)Sox!

If Lou uses Marmol I'm gonna flip

I don't even care if not using him causes us to lose this game, we can't use him this much

I. Hate. This. Park.

But than I look at the score and realize that it's not so bad.

We would be up 10+ at Wrigley

(10 runs not up by 10)
