I really hate when Rammy is in these situations sometimes. There is no way he even works the count in these situations

 

Like last night, when he drove in the go ahead run after a 742 pitch at bat?

 

haha, you caught me. But I swear he doesn't take really good approaches in these ABs. I know he's a run producer and a clean up hitter, but I don't like seeing him swing as hard as he can at 2 pitches, then half swing at ball 1 like that.

That was actually a solid 2-strike approach when we really needed it though.

That was actually a solid 2-strike approach when we really needed it though.

 

Very true. He did really choke up. And now that I think about it, he's done that in the past as well. 2 ABs last year in particular in late game situations he's done that.
