Clayton Kershaw To Be Called Up Sunday; Misses Cubs Series

The Dodgers only let him throw 1 inning in his start yesterday with no explanation given (he's not hurt). He's scheduled to start on Tuesday for Jacksonville, and that's when the Dodgers vacant 5th starter spot throws.

 

Of course that would mean he'd be making his big league debut against the Cubs.

That would be LEGENDARY, as it is the game I'm going to this year as well... I would be stoked to see him pitch. Hopefully the Dodgers play most of the other kids too (obviously martin and loney, but ethier and kemp as well). I'm pretty glad I picked this game to go to about 2 months ago, too bad I missed Z by a start tho.

Now the LA Times is saying that Kershaw will start on Sunday.

All indications are that he will be recalled from Jacksonville Sunday morning and start that day's game against the Cardinals, his major-league debut

 

Billingsly likely goes Monday vs the Cubs and Kuroda will be pushed back to Tuesday.
