gameday had ball 4 right down the middle

It wasn't down the middle, but it wasn't all that different than Theriot's K pitch in the top half.

I don't know about you guys, but when I turned on the game today, I just saw a loss coming. Today just feels like a loss.

As a Cobs fan, do you ever turn on a game and feel a win?

I've had enough of watching this crapa$$ rotation load the bases in the first inning. What a joke.

None of that was Dempster's fault except the walk.

and even that could have been a strikeout.

I did 2 weeks ago.

Anyways, putting Dempster in situations where he has to throw strikes against moderately patient hitters is not good.

I always think this team is going to lose lately.

That same pitch was a strike on Theriot.

True - Fontenot botched the DP that should have negated the scenario in the first place. But he didn't walk in a run with one of the league's most impatient hitters at the plate.

Well maybe the long first inning has thrown Cueto off a little. He sure did look comfortable to the first 3 hitters.

Come on. It should have been 3 up 3 down. The 2 hits were soft infield ground balls.

LOL! 3-0 and not a single hard hit ball!

That last hit would have been reasonably hard (and caught) if it hadn't broken his bat

The only good out of this is hopefully Hendry will realize that we desperately need starting pitching help.

Of course he should have recognized that last season instead of resting on the laurels of an amazingly flukey season by the staff as a whole.
