I just find it funny that we could've saved a boat load of money by just keeping Welly. They'll produce similar results.

With Marquis out there, I get that feeling.

You know, the gun-to-your-head, Russian-Roulette feeling.

I feel like this is the kind of Russian Roulette where every chamber is loaded.

and all you can really do is pray for a manufacturing defect.

Mechanical defect works on both levels

Continue to play way above your skill set Fontenot!

no i'm pretty sure he's one of those guys who would be awful with the cubs but pretty good for the cardinals.

You have to allow for the birds-on-the-bat effect though. On any other team his ERA is probably above 5.

Cubs have managed 3 fewer baserunners but wrung out 6 extra pitches through three innings. I love this team.

Until the pitchers come in (except Z)

True. And a few key injuries to get our best lineup on the field would be nice.

My favorite Cardinal of all time was John Rodriguez. In two years with the Cardinals I had over a .800 OPS. I leave them, I am out of baseball.

Healthy lineup with normal Soriano makes me drool
