I don't think I've ever seen Lilly throw this many curves, or see him work on the outside corner this much. He doesn't have much confidence in his fastball, and I can see why from some of the swings the Cardinals have gotten on it. Thankfully he's able to throw the curve for strikes today which has kept him afloat.
