It's gotta be a QB...Dixon? Brennan?

Booty or Johnson, I hope we don't even touch Dixon or Brennan with a 10 foot pole.

Dixon, Booty, 10 foot pole?

read the first 2 names very fast together.

LOL

Meh on Steltz. Good size at safety, but isn't very physical. Well, he'll stick his nose in there, but not a guy that's gonna strike fear in WRs going over the middle. Not very fast. Not a good man-to-man coverer. Be a decent fit in the cover-2 though. Is somewhat of a ball-hawk. Not the most instinctual safety though. If he can put himself in the right position in the cover-2, he's a solid backup safety.

Drafted a freakin Safety, ok so are they going QB with this next pick?

I'm going to laugh when one outlandish draft grader gives the Bears an F because they failed to pick a QB. I don't blame the Bears for not drafting one with the lot thats out there.

Is this safety meant to be a replacement for Chris Harris, who was I think a 6th round pick, who was traded for a 5th round pick?

i thought steltz was rather physical.

This is from Rivals:

Steltz is a throwback. Teams love this guy's mentality. He was much more athletic at his workouts than most expected. His instincts and savvy should allow him to play as a rookie if Mike Brown goes down again.

He looks more physical than he is. At 6'1", 210lbs, I expect a thumper. He's far from that. Again, he' won't shy away from contact, but he's not an Adam Archuleta type hitter.

Using players we know as Bears fans.....he's similar to Chris Harris in speed, coverage ability, and instincts. Probably a surer tackler than DManning, but similar lack of thump when making a hit.

.Better attacking the ball than as a tackler, as he does not generate much force behind his hits, especially when playing vs. the run inside the box..

Straight from the NFL.com scouting report.

that's all well and good, but it looks like fiction to me.

He did get a running start on that hit Sully posted the link to. I think the scouting report is refering to his ability to shoot the gap and shed blockers when they put him up in the box.

He can get stronger and work on that aspect. You can't teach instincts, which he already has.

dixon, no. i wouldn't be upset with brennan, though.

Reverse this for me. Brennan really brings nothing to the table.

i don't know about that.

You've shown a few hits. Granted, this one caused internal bleeding......

yeah, but you're saying that he doesn't generate enough power behind his hits. i think these few examples show that he is more than capable of being a big hitter.

just saying that i don't need to show a ton of examples to show his ability to hit.

YES! =D>

Finally, the Titans take a wide receiver. Not necessarily who I would have targeted, but I like Hawkins.

Decent speed and quite athletic. Two good picks so far in this draft now - Jason Jones and Lavelle Hawkins.

Let's keep up the good draft picks, it's a good feeling.
