Yeah, I'm not much of a Horford fan (wonder why) but Pierce was a pretty big ass there too.

Horford was doing that nonsense in the last two Final Fours. Coulda learned a thing or two from Brewer but instead, he acts like Noah.

I never saw what he did afterward. Here's the Horford thing, TT.

Paul Pierce is a bum, not even KG and Ray Allen can help him win a title. Horford was just fired up and young. What Pierce did was out of line. What exactly are you trying to say to him Paul? Is it any wonder he got jumped in a bar?

Avery Johnson fired. D'Antoni probably next. The Bulls have some better prospects now, but who would want to coach that mess?

Money talks and the Bulls are by far a better option than a team like the Knicks.

The Knicks will likely pay far more than the Bulls.

Yeah the Knicks pay more, but those two are smart coaches and I don't think they will just run to the money. But the Knicks have more talent, they just need a tough coach will will corral them.

The Bulls don't have a decent PG, a SH who makes terrible decisions, and Loul Deng who is soft and can't post up. The Bulls only have one decent low-post threat, and that is Gooden and he aint much. Plus they have a center who is a second stringer at best and has no offensive moves. Who wants this mess?

You can turnover a basketball team in no time. At least the Bulls aren't saddled in cap despair like the Knicks are.

Chicago is pretty clearly the better job.

It's basically the same team that won 47 games a year ago. I really don't think it's that big of a mess.

There's been reports that Paxson has already had discussions with Avery. I really hope he's the guy.

And clearly none of those guys will rebound from a bad season despite being in their prime.

I don't think that it is clear that they will. When the East gets better, they get worse. Until the East gets worse (not in the near future), the Bulls aren't going anywhere with this team.

How did the East get better? Boston got better, I'll give you that. But Detroit is the same. Orlando improved a little while Cleveland, Washington, and Toronto all took steps back this season. Philadelphia and Atlanta improved, but neither of those teams are that much better than the Bulls.

There's really no reason to believe the Bulls can't bounce back and be in the 2nd round of the playoffs again next year with the right moves in the offseason. That starts with hiring Avery.

With the right moves they can make the playoffs, but who is out there other than draft picks? A coach alone won't do it.

The remaining players who got them to the 2nd round the year before? Players who regressed/got hurt but could easily return to previous form.

But as a said before, they can return to form, but that form is like an inflated American dollar that can't do what it did before because what it does it always in relation to what other teams are

2005-2006: 36-46.

2006-2007: 40-42.

2007-2008: 52-30.

I think that's more than a little (not that I love their team at all).

So the Bulls can't return to their 06-07 form (with a largely similar roster that regressed but has players in their prime who can viably return to their 06-07 form) with a few tweaks and moves because the East is better despite the fact that the Heat, Raptors and Cavs are also worse now and only the the Celtics and Magic are improved while the Pistons held steady?

I don't think the Cavs and Raptors are worse than last year. The East got better which makes them look worse. Dwight Howard improved immensely which made the Raptors look worse. Did Orlando have Lewis last last? No.
