Imagine how good he will be when he's 39 and still playing for us? The guy already has regressed.

 

How has he regressed? His OPS last year was the second best of his career. He was just never close to $18m good to begin with. He banked off a career season and the Cubs were dumb enough to give him both money and years. Why couldn't we have just gotten Beltran 2 years prior?

 

Also, Soriano didn't sprint to that ball because he would have no chance of catching it even if he did sprint.
