I didn't see the home run Cedeno hit. Did it really hit the top of the scoreboard? If so that might be a 600 foot homer...

Its 340 out to left, 390 to left center. It's probably like 360 to the part of the park he hit it. Then you gotta figure theres about 75-100 feet to the base of the scoreboard. The scoreboard is what....40 feet high? That's gotta be about 600 feet of distance.

i doubt the scoreboard is that far back or that high in this park.

I don't know..take a peek:

tall, but 4 stories tall? no

a story is not ten feet. One story is around 30 feet depending on the height of a ceiling.

i live in a 2-story house and i promise you it's not 60 feet tall

the Hancock Building is 100 stories, so it's 3000 feet tall? Sears Tower, 110 stories. It's 1,450 feet tall (not including the antennae).

but I digress

If the Cubs do in the regular season what they've done in the 9th and 10th in the spring, we're never going to lose a game late again.

Who is scheduled to pitch for the Cubs tomorrow?

Lilly tomorrow, Demp Saturday.

Yes! Thank you. I figured he would since the scrub went today and that will set Lilly up for normal rest between now and his first start.

Watched the game on DVR last night. While, I have seen a few ST games this spring, I've only seen Fukudome throw like that once. I knew he had a great arm, but did you see that quick release? He looked awkward setting up, but the ball hit his glove then was in Ramirez's glove almost instantly.

If someone has time, I'd like to see what Hoffpauir has done against major league quality pitchers this spring. Seems to me he's hit a lot off of fellow minor league players. That being said, who cares, I'd love to see him up this year.

Also, I don't know if Theriot could hit a ball as far as the one Ronny hit, if he was standing on the warning track.

Hahahahaha, that made me laugh way harder than it probably should have.
