she's been itching to see a game at wrigley, and that could be her only chance for a couple seasons with the schooling she's about to start. Besides, she knows she drops to second on the priority list during games, and she's cool with that so far (we're not married), so might as well take advantage while I can.

This game is going to be against the DBags. Cubs could lose 16 to -5 and it would still not be as miserable as the last NSBB Cubs-DBags gathering. No better time to try and reverse a trend than when the bar can't possibly be any lower.

don't know if this was brought up in this thread since I did not go thru each post, but I saw a game last year at one of the rooftop venues and it was well worth the price. came to $150/person but that included all the food and drink you can shove in your pie hole for the majority of the game. the view was great and we also got to meet J. Noah who was there with another group. great guy. anyway, just an option if tickets to wrigley are scarse.

I will be Ball State baseball's PA announcer this season and we have a game on May 10, so I can't make it. If anyone on NSBB wants my ticket I'll sell it to you for 47 dollars, which is what I paid for it.

Congratulations! A big difference, but I was asked to do the local high school football games last year and absolutely loved it.

So it's about a 99% chance I'll be working in the bleachers for this game since i've been there every day but one. This could be interesting. 8-)
