I don't care what you guys say, I like Joe Buck calling the Super Bowl

derwood? go to bed, you sound tired.

seriously, he's not Joe Morgan or anything. Troy Aikmen is way worse. I'm not saying he's the greatest ever, but your guys hate for him is pretty ridiculous

I'm not gonna lie. I pretty much agree. My hate for Tim McCarver was way worse in the 2003 playoffs. Nobody will ever touch Stockton in the 07 playoffs...

Buck is pretty low in my book on the list of announcers/commentators I dislike.

i hate life. why couldn't the cubs have the horseshoe that the giants had on their td drive? and why did it have to be the freakin giants?

I feel the same way about the 06 Bears.. and at least the Bears were the best team in the NFC.

I don't mind Buck at all. He's not the greatest announcer ever but there are many, many announcers worse than him.

manning tried to throw about 5 INTs on that last drive, and they managed to either find their way into a WR's hands or just go off the fingertips of a pats defender. the play where the immobile eli somehow managed to get out of the grasp of three defenders, throw a dumb pass up for grabs downfield, and then david tyree - who is a scrub - makes a ridiculous contested catch.

yet mark prior can't get five more outs in game six. ](*,)

no kidding. amazing how many of my giant fan friends - many of whom pretty much gave up on their team after the first two games this year, and said they weren't watching any more games - crawled out of their holes to text me after tonight's game. or my roommate, who asked me how the eagles are doing. i dunno vic, how are the lions doing, since that was your favorite team up until about two years ago.

just what we needed... new yorkers getting more arrogant and obnoxious. bad times.

It's pretty absurd looking at that chain of events. The Cubs were five outs away from the series and had a young power staff poised to be the best in baseball for years thereafter. AND they put together the best Cubs lineup in decades the following season.

And they STILL managed to screw it up.

Is this the only time we see this Patriots team? They have a lot of possible retirements, and both Moss and Samuel are free agents. They are complete cap experts and have a high draft pick, but I think it's going to be hard for them not to get worse this offseason. Samuel is almost certainly gone. Moss is gone unless he's willing to sign a team-friendly deal just to stick around, which is possible but would be so unlike most of Moss's career (and him changing his contract this past offseason doesn't really count, he was desperate to get out of Oakland).

The funny thing is I still like a lot of individuals on this Patriots team. I've always been able to respect players like Brady, Faulk, Welker, Bruschi, Vrabel, etc. It's too bad they have so many of the absolute most classless people in the league to balance those out (Belichick and Rodney Harrison being the two worst examples, and Wilfork and Moss being 2 more. When Moss is only the 4th worst player on your team as far as character, you know you have problems :D).
