This game furthered the thought that Brady can get flustered if he starts getting hit. Seems like an obvious thought, but some folks can handle it better than others. I don't think Brady can handle it very well.

ANY QB gets rattled when he gets hit repeatedly, some to lesser extents

This is why no matter who you are, you need a good offensive line. Especially a Brady/Payton type who can't move.

Peyton can't run, but he's very good at moving around the pocket and avoiding tacklers.

It's funny how Eli and Peyton are so slow yet their dad was so fast and was much more of a running QB than a pocket passer like his sons. If no one has really seen footage of Archie, check this out (all the footage of him is in the first 45 seconds or so). You can really see how quick he was for his time....especially interesting given how slow his sons are:

I keep going back to the NFL site to look at the final Giants drive, that was amazing...

Eli did a really good job there. I don't really know that much about football, but I think no one would argue with me on this (you guys will probabely prove me wrong :? I )

He's fine doing once in a while but game after game pounding, he'd get killed.

And OMC, it is funny how that turned out and if Archie was on the Dolphins for those years instead of Greise we'd be talking about him in the Hall and not Griese.

He did a very good job. His escapability was impressive, and I thought, unexpected.

However -- he did throw a couple passes up for grabs, and it just so happens one of them bounced off Samuel's hands. If that gets caught, the game is over and we're talking about the perfect Pats and watching odes to Belichek 24/7 on ESPN for the next 6 months.

I realize other QBs sometimes throw 'em up too, but it's definitely something he shouldn't have done, especially the one to Assante.

Yep. Fast as Archie was and as good as he was at eluding tackles, he still got sacked an AVERAGE of 34 times a year during his career with New Orleans. The Saints line back then was so, soooooo bad.
