How the **** are they bums? They just played their tail off in a game they could have taken off, and almost beat one of the best teams in NFL history.

These AFC playoffs are going to be brutal. Let's say San Diego and Jax advance in round 1 (those have to be the two favorites). That sets up a NE-Jax and Colts-Chargers divisional round. Those both have the potential to be absolutely fantastic games. Then a possible NE-Colts rematch in Foxboro? Talk about great TV.

The weather should impact it a lot as well. The Jaguars have a much better chance against NE if there's wind that day (which isn't unusual for that time of year). I think the Colts have about as good of a chance in good weather as in bad weather, but the way the game is played could be severely affected by weather.

I hope the Giants get killed next week. Useless bums.

Me too. I'd love to see a Bucs/Pats Superbowl. I don't know who I'd root for.

I wouldn't even watch. That's a horrible SB matchup.

I never said it would be a good game.

I just enjoy the commercials that accompany the annual blowout.

Though I don't share it, I understand the hate for the Patriots. What I don't understand is how anyone could hate them more than Shula and the '72 Dolphins.

Sometimes I wish they could spend one day a young as they were then to play against even the worst NFL team right now, just to see them get annihilated.

i don't know, i find it hard to hate a team that is just this awesome. i certainly don't love the Pats, but damn if they aren't amazing to watch

Boston/New England is ruining my life.

Red Sox

Freakin Patriots

Celtics

Shut up new england.

have to deal with a lot of New Englanders in your day to day life in Indiana/Chicago?

why oh why did i bench eli manning for the finals in fantasy football. :(

because he's a petulant, 12-year old looking punk?

How is he petulant, and how is he a punk? Other than be an average-good NFL QB that has helped lead his team to the playoffs in every year that he has been a fulltime starter, what has he done to make YOU dislike him so much? It seems that his greatest sin is that he isn't his brother.

Thank god its not new York. I always some what liked the Sox, and Patriots. Not going to stop now. Of course should the Cowboys get a rematch in the playoffs I hope Brady and Moss get pounded.

I'm really, really hoping that we get a New England-Jacksonville matchup in the second round.

Somewhere Peyton Manning is crying. I love it.

I really don't think Peyton cares that much about the record. If he cared he would've played into the 4th quarter in those blowout games or played more in the last game of the season that year.

Good point.

No worries, Eli will blow chunks in Tampa like he always does in January, and all the higher seeds - except Jacksonville over Pittsburgh - will win their first round games.

If Washington wins tomorrow, I think they'll beat Seattle next weekend.

"Boo Hoo! I don't WANT to play for San Diego! Daddy, make them stop drafting me!"

Your blind Ole Miss homerism makes you miss the fact that he is a whiny brat who sucks when the pressure is on.

That's fine and all, but your angst toward him makes it sound like he raped your wife or something.

My Ole Miss "homerism" doesn't blind me from thinking that it was a bitch move when he didn't want to go to the Chargers. He was crucified in local papers for it, as he should have been. However, he's not an arrogant person, he's never gotten into trouble, he doesn't run with a bad crowd, and he pretty much stays to himself. Truly an awful person who is to be loathed.

Not really. It wasn't his choice to play or sit in those games. It's the coaches. Also he probably didn't think anybody would be approaching that record so soon.
