I'm going to be in the DFW area for New Years and I'm trying to convince my wife to let me and the bro-in-law score some tickets to the Cotton Bowl.

 

I think you would still be able to get some pretty good tickets. I haven't been hearing anything about it though. This has the potential to be a very good game, and one I would not be suprised to see Mizzou lose.

 

I've found a few on Ebay I like and there are also some on craigslist. I just can't get the ok from the missus.

I'm pretty hype about tonight's game. First IU bowl game since 1993. Granted it's on NFL network and a lot of people don't get it, but I'd love to see IU light up the scoreboard tonight. I don't believe I've ever lost my voice watching an IU football game, but I most likely will tonight.

 

FYI, for anyone watching, Tracy Porter is the most underrated CB in college football. He's just below Malcolm Jenkins in the Big Ten. 6'7" WR, James Hardy gives IU another top 50 pick in the upcoming draft.

Air Force. Though I'm jaded by having been burnt by Cal a few times earlier this season. What a disappointing team.

The big question is if Cal got a chance to lick their wounds. If they are healthy, I think they should take it. BUT, I think Air Force is going to get some big gains on the pourus Cal defense. Its a tough call because we don't know how healthy Cal is and how they will respond. Its tough to guage the Pac 10 this year. Either the top teams suck of the bottom teams are pretty decent.

 

I think the over is the best bet here.

Evidently like Cal's best 4 or so players are suspended (ie. not starting) for breaking team rules. I'm sure they wont be benched for long though.

Only problem there is Bowman's about 6'4", Porter is 5'9". I don't think TP has faced a WR that big this year, so it will be interesting to see how he does. Hopefully he puts on a show.

Seriously, I wouldn't even take FSU and the points if they didn't have any players suspended. I put $50 originally, but the more I think about it the easier $ it seems. I'm putting another $150 on it.

I think Auburn may struggle against Clemson. Clemson has a qb that may be able to take advantage of Auburn's secondary....specially if Auburn is focused on stopping the run...Also from what I'm hearing, Auburn is likely to begin using the new offensive coordinator's spread offense...and Auburn's backup freshman QB, Kodi Burns, may get considerable playing time in that offense.
